Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for battery cells, modules, and chargers

  • Evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers based on technical capabilities, quality systems, and production readiness

  • Partner closely with engineering to ensure components meet performance, safety, and integration requirements

  • Lead contract negotiations for pricing, capacity, and long-term supply agreements

  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising safety or quality

  • Benchmark suppliers and track technology trends to inform strategic decisions

  • Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective actions to ensure reliability

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies, including capacity planning and alternate sourcing

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration into production
