Electrical Repair/Rework Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Repair/Rework Technician to join our manufacturing and repair team. You will focus on repairing, modifying, and reworking precision electrical assemblies used in our next-generation humanoid robots. The work will involve advanced soldering, cable preparation, and removing/replacing electrical and electronic components to aerospace- and defense-grade quality standards.

This role is ideal for technicians from robotics, EV, aerospace, or defense electronics environments who thrive in precision work and want to be part of cutting-edge robotics development.

What You’ll Do

• Perform advanced soldering, de-soldering, and rework on both through-hole and fine-pitch surface-mount components (SMT).

• Remove and replace electronic components on PCBs following IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 Class 2 & 3 workmanship standards.

• Prepare and terminate high-reliability cable harnesses, shielded cables, and multi-pin connectors.

• Inspect assemblies for damage, misalignment, or nonconformance using magnification and precision measurement tools.

• Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering change orders (ECOs), and rework instructions.

• Use hot air rework tools, soldering stations, crimpers, wire strippers, and other specialized equipment.

• Maintain ESD-safe practices in all handling, repair, and storage activities.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot failures and execute corrective actions.

• Document all repair and rework activities for traceability and quality control.

• Support rapid turnaround on rework to keep prototype and production schedules on track.
