As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Global Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize our supply chain operations while supporting aggressive R&D and engineering development. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless sourcing, procurement, and logistics while navigating the complexities of geopolitical and economic changes that impact manufacturing and global supply chains. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global sourcing strategies, supply chain risk management, and supplier engagement while working closely with commodity experts and engineering teams to drive innovation and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier development, 

  • Optimize inventory levels and ensure materials availability across manufacturing sites 

  • Analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency

  • Develop and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to align supply strategies with business goals

  • Mitigate risks and develop contingency plans to ensure supply chain resilience

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and lead supply chain projects from conception to execution
