Mechanical Engineer - Production Team

Our team is focused on developing cutting-edge technologies that enhance the capabilities and performance of our android robots. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team for producing Neo, our latest and most advanced android robot model. As a Mechanical Engineer on our team, you will play a vital role in the development and manufacturing process of the Revo 2 motor. You will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers and designers to create novel solutions and ensure the successful production of our android robots. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to apply their mechanical skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced robotics environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop innovative solutions for the Revo 2 motor production process
- Assist in the design and optimization of mechanical components using Solidworks
- Utilize 3D printing skills to prototype and iterate on designs
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues
- Participate in the assembly and testing of actuators for Neo
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and design modifications
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for robotics
- Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques
Nice-To-Haves
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Formula SAE, FIRST Robotics, or similar engineering competitions
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Decent understanding of basic hand tools and their functions

The Dallas Service Center (DSC) is located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We are close to all major corridors, Highways 635, 114, 121, and Interstates 30, and 35. Just 8 minutes from the DFW Airport. 1X Dallas is a hub focusing on Customer Success for EVE, Android Maintenance and Repair, and Motor Manufacturing for Android NEO.
